The WorkSource has developed a resource tool for researching occupations in the Gulf Coast region. The Gulf Coast Region High-Skill, High-Growth Occupations file introduces you to over 60 different jobs in industries requiring a large number of skilled workers now and in the future. Each card in the file is an introduction to an occupation, citing what kind of work is involved and what specific skills are required to do the work.

Each card also outlines the amount and kind of education and/or previous work experience needed to enter that occupation; the number of workers that will be needed to fill employer positions now and in the future; and the names of the top three industries that are most likely to hire someone in this occupation.
